Snow and Ice

The southeastern United States received a lot of snow yesterday. Overnight we received rain and sleet turning our beautiful snow into a big crunchy mess. It’s a rare thing for Tennessee to receive this much snow, so that’s why it’s such a big deal and on my blog!

All night we heard huge sheets of snow and ice sliding off the roof and hitting the ground.

Frozen branches in the yard:

And finally a hint of color for a cold winter day:

  1. Love the shots you got from your yard. That is only as far as I ventured also. The “frozen branches” is SWEET and nothing like something bright red (berries) in a winter scene!
