Update: Just found on their site a link to some free presets and plugins. This is a great way to try out their products for free!

onOne free plugins and presets

On Friday I was the lucky winner of the onOne Plug-in Suite 5. Imagine my surprise at the wealth of tools included in this suite. Everything from photo editing, adding frames, and preset is ready for me in either Photoshop or Lightroom. I finally had time to play around with some of the tools and I am going to have to explore some more because this is a real extensive piece of software. Here is the photo I am working on currently, straight out of the camera (SOOC):

It’s not bad, but it needs a little something extra to make it stand out. The first thing I did was to apply a little color correction myself. Then I started adding some presets from Phototools 2.5. This is the first image that I came up with:

It’s not exactly what I was hoping for, yet. It does have some added dimension and contrast, but I need to lighten the picture just a bit overall.

Next, I went for a totally different look:

This is more of the feeling that I was going for and really like this one.

I took this picture on my grandpa’s farm today while my brother and I were walking around the property. I can’t recall ever seeing this here before, but it sure did make a pretty cool picture.
